PSSST!!!!

microbeads

 Hey..

YOU!!

Over here!

👀

SHHHHUSHH!!!😶

I got Acne scrub-

EXFOLIATING scrub, if you know what I mean…

ten bucks a squirt

how bad ya need it?

😎

One minute you’re an average housewife,

the next minute it’s a brand New Year

and the facial cleanser in your medicine cabinet,

the stuff with the micro-beads,

is classified as an environmental hazard

and is outlawed

making you..

an outlaw! 😱

So what do I do with my now illegal stash of wash?

Sell it on the street corner and get rich?

E-bay?

(no, I’m sure the NSA would catch me)

Deliver it to a special waste facility?

Grab my make-up bag and run for the border?

woman-running-3

It’s my first moral dilemma of 2016! 😉

CNW ..

(crazy new world)

  1. Yikes! That’s a dilemma, indeed. If it were me, I’d probably take it to the local hazardous-waste drop-off site and endure the guys’ weird looks. (I’d rather endure some weird looks than feel guilty every time I wash my face. But that’s just me.) And since it sounds like you’re in the market for a new exfoliant, here’s my favorite: http://www.sephora.com/firmx-peeling-gel-P377561?skuId=1495860
Yes, it’s really expensive — but a tiny bit goes a long way, and MAN DOES IT WORK.
Hope the rest of your 2016 is off to a smoother start, Cindy! (Pardon the pun …)

    1. HAHA!! I hope it’s smooth too with far fewer wrinkles which is why I bought an exfoliant in the first place! Maybe I’ll just go back to Irish Spring and a wash cloth..but with my luck, they’ll pull that off the shelves too. In all seriousness, it is interesting that no one considered how plastic micro-beads would eventually create a problem..but why do we still have plastic six-pack rings for sodas out there?

      1. YES! Hear, hear, Cindy … *why* do we still have plastic six-pack rings? I wish I were rich so I could offer a $1 million bounty to the first person who comes up with a safer alternative …

  2. Try a soap called Kiss my Face. It’s sold in whole foods.. It’s what my plastic surgeon told me to use. You will never need creams again. It’s called really Kiss my Face. Buy the one with olive oil in it. It really cleans and softens your skin. Have a Happy New Year .
