House hunting

Looking for a home near a city is a real challenge. It’s an exercise in compromise to be sure. You can live far away, have a horrible commute and get more for your money…or live closer in and get less- much less– for your buck.

I toured an expensive, dilapidated, 1930s home the other day that left me completely shell shocked. I didn’t know what I needed more after we left..a shower in case some spider dropped into my hair, or an exorcism for the ghosts I have NO DOUBT were floating around that place just waiting for some dumb blonde to enter their lair. 😧

OK, so it wasn’t this bad, but you get the idea. (photo credit-amazingstoriesmag.com)

We actually did put in an offer on a home yesterday (not the haunted one.)

The ‘adventure’ continues..
