Inflammation..the new BUZZ word!



It doesn’t matter what I read these days..everything health related seems tied to inflammation in our bodies and efforts to reduce it.  A 2010 study found that YOGA may actually reduce inflammation in the body. Inflammation, which can be triggered by stress, can worsen allergies…so, I guess YOGA can relieve some allergy symptoms by relieving stress which relieves some of that inflammation! Downward facing dog can also drain your nasal passages, supported back bends can push air past blocked nasal passages and alternate nostril breathing can increase over-all relaxation..leading to (you guessed it) less inflammation! (
